Andreas “splash” Kyriacou | Ανδρέας Κυριάκου

Studied film directing at Raindance Institute in London and has since worked in various film production houses and broadcast corporations in Cyprus since 2006.

Currently developing a mini series based on his short film, The Midnight Shift. The concept was developed via the Midpoint Tv Launch program and was awarded the HBO Award in Sarajevo Film Festival 2017. In April 2018 he joined the inaugural Canneseries Institute and became part of the first alumni.

The worldwide lockdown forced him to put a temporary pause on his first feature film, Tracking: The Cyprus Tigers, a documentary about a cult Hong Kong martial arts film shot on the island during the summer of 1990.

Enjoys occasionally a good ale but despite his Mediterranean origins hates olives with a passion.
